Positioning a point
This exercise is about experimenting with positioning a point. I chose a very simple and plain subject to better see the effects of changing the position of the point.
The point is right in the centre, and it gives the composition a very static and fairly dull look.

Here the point is off centre, to the left of the frame. It makes the composition more dynamic and it also makes the white surface on the right look more interesting, because it seems more purposefully there.

The point is close to the bottom left-hand edge. It is even more dynamic, but such an eccenentric point seems to need some justification, and there is none, so the composition doens't work as well.
